The 2023 MLB draft is over but all 30 organizations are expected to sign undrafted free agent deals in the coming days and weeks.
After being capped at $20,000 per contract in 2020 and 2021, the maximum amount a player could sign in an NDFA deal and not count against a team’s bonus pool was raised to $125,000 in 2022. In 2023, that number increased. Again to $150,000 before bonus for the pool.
