The 2024 Olympic Taekwondo competitions in Paris, France, “Tennis” Panipak Wongpattanakit, the gold medalist in the women's 49kg taekwondo category at the 2020 Olympic Games and the bronze medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics, remains the highest hope for Thai athletes competing at the Grand Palais, Paris, France on August 7.

In the first round, Panipak immediately went on the offensive, blocking kicks to the body. Followed by a kick to the opponent's head. Before the round ended, he won 8-1 points, and led 1-0. In the second round, Panipak still played better, cornering him and kicking him in the head twice, adding 4 and 3 points, and finally won by a landslide. 10-1 made him win the round 2-0.

Round of 8 qualifiers Tennis Panipak Wongpattanakit meets Dunya Abutaleb from Saudi Arabia, who defeated Avishak Simberg from Israel in the first round. Both fought closely and countered well, but Panipak kicked the ball. The body won and he got points on punches 4-1, leading 1-0. In the second round, the Thai player shot his gun to the head 4 times, while Abutaleb hit the ball to the body to get points, chasing but not in time, in the end Panipak got a decisive victory. 13-3, winning the round 2-0.

Returning to the fight in the second round, the Thai player immediately opened the attacking match, but Stojkovic managed to kick him in the head once. Panipak did not allow that and the score closed and rushed to execute a series of head kicks, eventually winning 11-5, which gave her a 2-0 win in the round.

Tennis player Panipak qualified for the finals to meet world number six Guo Qing of China, in what is considered a replay of the 2022 Asian Games final tonight at around 2:19 am.
