Police said a large group of attendees fled the scene after hearing gunfire around 10 p.m
“Currently, there is no evidence of shooting, and the initial report was deemed unfounded,” the police said in a statement.
Officials said that festival organizers displayed a message on screens at the scene stating that there had been a security incident and that authorities were investigating and would remain in place.
The two-day festival, which began on Saturday, featured several R&B and rap artists, including Usher, Ludacris and Ne-Yo.
