For the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Center has forecast a southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand, and a low pressure area covering the upper parts of Vietnam.

This characteristic causes frequent thunderstorms in Thailand. Heavy rain is falling at some places in upper North East. Southern Zone (West Coast)

• Mostly Krabi, Trang and Satun provinces will get thunderstorms over 30 percent of the area.

• Upward from Ranong Province: Southwest wind 15-35 km/h.
