This weekend has been uniquely eventful for Frank Ocean Fans who celebrate 10The tenth memory orange channel Well completed by Two new episodes From blond radio on Apple Music.
Tucked into one of those new episodes, “blonded Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” and featuring an insightful discussion centered on the drug with… Dr.. James Fadimanword from the ocean itself about working on it Something in Malibu. In fact, shortly after asking Fadiman what actually happens to a person while experiencing a flight, Ocean revealed the Malibu brief as he pondered the video game’s coyotes-like behavior of the area.
“Forgive how, like, the free bonding you might feel. … I was working in Malibu this summer and I was going to be out really late from the studio and there are, say, a lot of wolves in Malibu,” Ocean said starting at 13:11 in the episode. “And then when I go outside, I’d see, like, all these bunnies walking around and they remind me of video games where you’re, like, a wizard or something. And you play that role in this game and you’re running around and you have these little things to pick up and put in the bag” .
From there, Ocean linked these images to how humans similarly collect experiences of value throughout their lives.
“For some reason, narcotics and other discoveries in this role that we play — these roles that we play — feel like those things we pick up and put in the bag or consume or whatever they do to us, whatever these things we find coming our way.”
It’s not entirely clear, of course, whether this is a reference to recent studio sessions in particular, although context clues elsewhere in the episode indicate that it very likely is. As fans will note, the ocean was mentioned Back in 2019 to buy a multi-million dollar home in the Malibu area.
