Meghan Markle was stunned by three British women when she tried to shake hands with them outside Windsor Castle.
The former “Suits” star, 41, appeared alongside Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton outside the castle on Saturday as they greeted crowds to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Markle – from Popularity has fallen in the UK Since she left the royal family in 2019 – she’s received mostly a standing ovation, but three mourners couldn’t take it when the former actress reached out.

It seems that the host of the ‘Originals’ podcast has taken the initiative step by step, simply moving on to the next group of mourners.
Some cheered the women on Twitter, in one writing: “Lady in blue and the others are all of us. They refuse to shake hands with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Netflix. This speaks volumes. She needs to get back to California ASAP. You are really hated for disrespecting the UK.”
It’s not the first video of Markle’s meet and greet on Saturday that goes viral.
The Duchess and Harry shocked royal watchers when they appeared alongside William and Kate in their first public appearance as a quadruple player since early 2020.
Harry is said to have been estranged from William after he and Markle broke the royal family in an interview with Oprah early last year.
Over the weekend, a separate video showed Markle speaking with his aides about paying tribute to flowers – He seems confused about royal protocol.
Markle was seen carrying a bouquet of flowers given to her by a mourner when a royal aide approached to ask if he could take the flowers off her hands.
Markle seemed to decline the offer and told her assistant she would put them on herself before returning to the crowd with the bundle in her arms. But moments later, another assistant came forward and extended a helping hand to the package. Markle seemed to resist at first, but after the assistant seemed to explain the situation, she committed the floral arrangement and handed him over.
The Duchess is expected to remain in the UK until the Queen’s funeral on 19 September.
She has also suspended the release of new ‘Originals’ podcast episodes as a Show respect for the late king.
