Coco Gauff, ranked tenth in the world in women’s singles, defeated second seed Aryna Sabalenka 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, in a dramatic comeback in the US Open women’s final.

The star-studded crowd exploded in applause after Gauff’s home run at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. Gauff’s first major championship
