The Philosophy Probe successfully landed near the moon’s south pole on August 23, making India the fourth country in the world to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon. Isro revealed this last week and it is hoped that the Philosophy probe and the Vikram lander will be contacted again. It will extend its mission life by rebooting its solar-powered philosophy. Once the Moon receives the sunlight but so far no signal has been received, the night on the Moon will last like 14 days on Earth, because one day on the Moon is equal to one month on Earth.
