Project: Football English Premier League 2023/24
Match Date: Saturday 25 November 2023
Ground: St. James’s Park
Result: Newcastle 4-1 Chelsea
The first match since the international break in November, and there will be no rest until the winter break at the start of next year, Chelsea visit Newcastle United, looking to pick up the full 3 points. There are many injured people in that area. But Singha’s defense of the game appears to be disastrous. Both missed the game and received red cards until Chelsea lost 1–4 thanks to goals from Alexander Isak, Jamal Lascelles, Solinton and Anthony Gordon.
Robert Sanchez – 5 – The first goal scored was forfeited as usual. Before a bit of luck came, Kieran Trippier’s free kick hit the crossbar. But then the other 3 goals lost were unassisted.
Mark Gugurea – 4 – They clearly do not know each other with their guardian friends. He was left hanging and beaten until the end. Alexander Isak was immediately penalized in the 14th minute and then played out of form. After Reece James was dismissed the two stood at left back and turned right.
Thiago Silva – 4 – He fouled the first two goals scored. He then miscued a pass and hit Solin as the ball went in to finish the game for the 3rd level, including not being able to assist the 4th goal until it was classed as a day to forget.
Benoit Badiachill – 4 – Like Thiago Silva, this game was not his day. Despite trying to be an option before friends like Axel Disasi or Levi Colville, he played poorly. Especially the 4th goal was completely attacked by Anthony Gordon.
Reece James – 4 – Focus more on defensive plays while facing strong home team attacks throughout the game. The attack fades the game somewhat and then makes a big mistake while receiving a pass from Robert Sanchez, which cuts the game short. And yellow and red lost
Leslie Ukochukwu – 5 – Anthony had to draw a foul in the face of Gordon’s speed. A yellow card was lost at the end of the first half. Including how useful he can be as a defensive midfielder
Enzo Fernandez – 5 – Mauricio Pochettino seems to have made the wrong decision to start the Argentina midfielder right away. After serving the nation for a few days and returning from a long journey. So this game is showing signs of fatigue. And rarely have any productive first-half shots on target in addition
Raheem Sterling – 7 – Very sharp with a goal to level the score at 1-1 in the 23rd minute, except, at fault. Even so, Nick curled the ball over the wall and into the goal with just enough precision for Pope to stare. But other than that, it was quiet.
Connor Gallagher – 5 – He created the first chance in the 9th minute by pulling to the left side of the penalty area and shooting. But it slipped out of the frame. Later, tried to run up and down but it didn’t help to improve the defensive play.
Cole Palmer – 5 – It’s an unplayable game. Couldn’t build play and was partly responsible for the third goal when he returned the ball a bit too hard to Thiago Silva.
Nicholas Jackson – 4 – In the first 4 minutes there was a chance to pull Gee towards a dangerous point, but he missed the ball at the last moment. After that, it disappeared. He disappeared and almost did not appear on the screen and lost as much as not on the field.
Balance
Mykhailo Mutrik (Replacing Connor Gallagher, 68) – 5 – Expected to be a game changer but nothing helped in this match.
Moses Kaisedo (Replaces Leslie Ukochuk, 68) – 5 – He was reserved after traveling a long distance to play for the national team but seems to have hit the ground running a bit late. Once it’s down, it’s useless.
Armando Proya (Replaces Nicholas Jackson, 68) – 5 – Chance to touch the ball multiple times. No need to tell the time of the shot.
Levi Colville (Instead of Cole Palmer, 75) – 5 – Reece James was sent in to help block the defense after he was sacked, but was unable to help.
Noni Maduke (in place of Raheem Sterling 87) N/A Didn’t do anything in the last few minutes on the field.
