Thailand Post Co., Ltd. announces the return price of EMS World items in undelivered condition to 4 destinations: New Zealand, Russia, Australia and Portugal for goods sent from 1 January 2024 onwards, along with notifying service users to select “Return Items” or “Abandon” on the deposit receipt before Use of the Service.

He revealed that the postal service of destinations in 4 countries, namely New Zealand, Russia, Australia and Portugal, has announced a fee for the return of undeliverable items from the EMS World service, from January 1, 2024 onwards. Abandoned items can be notified to await further destruction. Or it can return the items to their original condition. Simply choose to discard or return by agreeing to pay the return fee. In the EMS World Service Receipt Form before using the service so that the destination post office can proceed as requested by the sender, in case the destination item cannot be delivered. Excludes destinations Australia and Portugal. Each item will be returned to its origin in every case without being abandoned to await destruction.

However, the delivered item cannot be delivered and is returned from the destination. Thai Post will notify the item has been received by EMS and return it to the depositor. The cost of returning the item will be calculated according to the 2024 EMS Global Return Postal Prices Announcement and are both charged by weight. For undeliverable international shipments most cases occur due to incomplete addresses/recipients refusing to receive the items at the destination. Therefore, we ask for the cooperation of the sender to fill in the correct and complete address information.
