✕ Disneyland Paris / ✓ Avenue Art Paris
If we are talking about Disneyland in the world, there are a total of 6 locations around the world: Shanghai Disney Resort (China), Hong Kong Disneyland (Hong Kong), Tokyo Disney Resort (Japan), Walt Disney World Resort (Florida, USA) . ), Disneyland Resort (California, USA) and Disneyland Paris (France)
Disneyland Paris is one of the dreams of Disneyland hunters from all over the world who want to visit it at least once. Because it has prominent features like the castle that is designed in cartoon style. sleeping beauty (sleeping beauty) is about one hour by train from central Paris. You will experience the world of childhood imagination.
but!! This is not for me. I'll take you one stop before Disneyland Paris and head to the large shopping mall project. It's wrapped in street art from top artists across Europe.
Free days are the reason
Because it was during the semester break at the university. So I have some free time to search for street art by artists I like on the site. It is a work created in Paris and its surroundings. Because I want to touch it with my eyes once before it disappears. They are inspired to create their own works and the street art is located in a large shopping mall. It's about an hour from central Paris, plus there are 5 other bus stops, wherever you go, let's go! See you at “Clos du Chêne”.
After getting off the bus, you have to walk approximately 600 meters to reach the project. The one I chose is the closest way to finding my favorite artist's work, ie Hubbar As expected its work is still perfect. Although it has been created since 2021, every line of brush that is painted all the pigments are sprayed through the pressure in the spray can. It's still as beautiful as the pictures I've seen on social media.
I spent some time taking pictures and stood staring at the red and black details on the wall. Until I read the sign next to the work, there was a sentence written in French: Parcours Avenue Art Clos du Shane It means street art display route for this shopping mall.
Oh, my God! There wasn't just one, there was another. I looked around and found that almost every empty space outside the building was covered with dozens of artworks by top street artists in Paris and Europe.
Whether it's on walls, ceilings, system cabinets, or even vehicle height restriction signs.
Clos du Chien
Clos du Chêne is a large shopping centre. It covers an area of more than 54,000 square metres, and consists of several square-shaped buildings spread across the area. There are more than 61 leading product brands beside the building. There is also a park and playground. This is to support the most diverse activities of shopping.
Back in 2019, the project management team (FREY Group) and the local municipality launched an initiative to transform empty building structures into canvases for street artists. With the aim of this “this shopping center will become the largest street art museum”
The term “street art,” according to many, can refer to spray-painted smears on public walls. Sometimes there are very rude words and meanings. Sometimes he wrote with a pen: ….the father of every institution At the bathroom door at the gas station
If you imagine having a beautiful piece of art created on a public wall. From an area where no one pays attention and instead, there were people coming to walk around, take pictures and generate a little income for the people in the area. This business will be viewed as a business that should be preserved. Is it because it attracts people to the area?
If you look at reality, the wall is like a canvas or a space for the artist to express his thoughts. Through the pigment from the spray, through the line drawn through the tip of the brush. It's just that these artists did not have the space to express their ideas freely, so the “wall” was the only thing through which they could express their ideas.
Alize's Kitchen!
The first chapter of the story begins with street art artists led by… Fast graphics And 12 international artists such as RNST, Achin, PRO176, Lady M Let's come together to create 21 wall art works without restrictions in techniques and styles. The project was first launched and released to viewers on May 20, 2019, where it was a huge success. People are paying attention and giving importance to more and more “local artists” It became a project that continued in the following years.
