The report said that films produced in China include “Yolo,” “Pegasus 2,” and “Boonie Bears: Time Twist,” all of which will be released on the first day of this long holiday. It still achieves the top three revenues from movie ticket sales.

Yolo is a comedy film that tells the story of an unemployed woman in her thirties, who still lives with her parents until one day she meets a boxing coach who changes her life. It has achieved the highest cumulative income of more than 2.68 billion yuan (about 13.4 billion baht) as of Saturday afternoon (February 17).

The comedy-drama film Pegasus 2 had the second-highest cumulative revenue at 2.36 billion yuan (about 11.8 billion baht), and the animation film Boony Bears had the third-highest cumulative revenue at about 1.39 billion yuan (about 6.95 billion baht).

The Chinese New Year festival is one of the most lucrative movie seasons in China, as more Chinese people choose to watch movies to pass the time during the long holiday.
