Abdul Malik, a local search and rescue official, said about 150 people from the disaster relief agency were present on Sunday. They joined together to search for missing people in 3 areas affected by floods and landslides.
While Mr Abdul Mahari, spokesman for the Indonesian Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), said most of the people who had to be evacuated went to take shelter in a nearby mosque but no shelter was established. They received the necessary food, water and medicines. Some people decided to return to their homes when the water level dropped.
