Sarut Wongchisit, a local pro, shot a 9-under 63 to take first place in the qualifying round for the 2024 Singha Sat Nakhon Nayok Championship at the Watermill Course, distance 7186, par 72.
The Professional Golf Association of Thailand organized the Thailand PGA Tour professional golf tournament, the 2024 Singha SAT Nakhon Nayok Championship, from 20 to 22 March 2024 at Watermill Golf Resort & Spa, Nakhon Nayok District, Cheng Ngen, with a total prize pool of 3 million baht.
The PGA Tour Thailand Professional Golf Championship is supported by major sponsors Singha Corporation, the Sports Authority of Thailand and the National Sports Development Fund. Participating Sponsors Singha Drinking Water, About Grass, EGA, Udompanich, Leborn and Dog Fight Golf compete in stroke play, 3 rounds or 54 holes, par 60 and a tie after 36 holes.
Qualifying Round (March 18, 2024) Sarut Wongchisit The local red flag pro did an excellent job, making 2 double eagles, 6 birdies and 1 bogey, and advanced to the next round in first place with a 9-under-par 63.
Sarut Wongchisit in revealing today's match said, “There were two eagles that came to help and made the score deep. The eagle on hole 4 hit a sand blast. In this round, 38 players with the best scores will be selected, and 12 other players will be selected in the qualifying round tomorrow (March 19, 2024) to enter the championship round on March 20 and 22.
