Dow futures positive ahead of tonight's CPI reveal: InfoQuest

Dow Jones futures rose and at the same time, investors are watching the US inflation numbers that will be revealed today.

The results of the analyst survey expected that the headline consumer price index, which includes food and energy categories, rose 3.4% in March year-over-year from 3.2% in February.

On a monthly basis, the overall CPI is expected to rise by 0.3% in March from 0.4% in February.

As for the core consumer price index (Core CPI), which does not include the food and energy categories. It is expected to rise by 3.7% in March year-on-year from 3.8% in February.

On a monthly basis, the core CPI is expected to rise 0.3% in March from 0.4% in February.

In addition, investors are monitoring the minutes of the Federal Reserve's March 19-20 monetary policy meeting, which will also be released today.
