Latest Timeline of 10,000 Baht Digital Money Supply Scheme
Date: 10 July 2024
- A sub-committee meeting will be held to run the digital wallet project.
Date: 15 July 2024
- PM to hold policy committee meeting for 10,000 baht top-up scheme through digital wallet
Date: 24 July 2024
- The Prime Minister will hold another press conference regarding the digital wallet project. The opening date is ready to be announced to the public. and shops registered in the scheme
Date: 30 July 2024
- The Cabinet has approved the details of the scheme proposed by the Finance Ministry as the Secretary of the Digital Wallet Committee
As for the initial record of issuance of 10,000 baht digital money, it is still scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2024 and the payment will be made in the 4th quarter of the same year. But no date has been set yet.

The Ministry of Commerce will re-determine the list of products that can participate in the 10,000 baht digital money scheme.
Eligibility: Eligible to receive 10,000 baht digital cash
Age criteria
- Must be a Thai citizen
- Be 16 years of age on September 30, 2024.
- OR must have been born before October 1, 2008
Deposit criteria
- Keep a deposit not exceeding 500,000 baht
- Count all baud deposits in each account.
- Government banks including commercial bank deposits and savings accounts, fixed deposit accounts.
- Savings Lottery Excludes Government Savings Bank Lottery.
- Deposits will be counted till March 31, 2024.
Income criteria
- Income not exceeding 840,000 baht per tax year or 70,000 baht per month.
- Data collected from Department of Revenue as on December 31, 2023.
- That means you must be a tax filer in the most recent year.
