Apple and Major League Baseball Announce August 'Friday Night Baseball' Schedule

Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced the August schedule for “Friday Night Baseball.” The two weekly games will air on Apple TV+ every Friday for subscribers throughout the 2024 regular season, with fans in 60 countries and regions able to watch the games over 26 weeks without local broadcast restrictions.

Friday Night Baseball features a panel of baseball's best including Wayne Randazzo (commentator), Dontrelle Willis (analyst), Heidi Watney (sideline reporter), Alex Faust (commentator), Ryan Spielborgs (analyst) and Tricia Whitaker. (Courtesy Reporter) Along with former MLB umpires Ted Barrett, Brian Gorman and Dale Scott, they will be on hand to analyze the rules and decisions each week. The names of the speakers will be announced for each game each week.

Lauren Gardner will host the live pre- and post-game broadcasts, along with former MLB player and analyst Xavier Scruggs and baseball reporter Russell Dorsey.
