Israel is intensifying its attacks on several areas in the Gaza Strip. The northern, central and southern cities, according to the Palestinian Authority, and dozens of civilians are said to have been killed. Hamas has warned that continuing the offensive could jeopardize ceasefire talks.
Bodies were lined up at Nasser Hospital, the main hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, after the Israeli military carried out an airstrike on a refugee tent outside a school in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis, on Tuesday night.
Initially, government officials in Gaza and the Hamas-controlled attack killed at least 29 civilians, most of them women and children.

“We are at the school gate. I went out to get things for my children. When the attack happened, a big explosion. People flew in every direction. There is no ambulance around. It takes about an hour or 40 minutes to get there. People are scattered, civilians who do not belong to Hamas, Fatah or any other group.”
The Israeli military said it was investigating reports of Palestinian civilian casualties and deaths from the attack in Khan Yunis. It is prepared to confirm that the attack used precision weapons and targeted Hamas fighters involved in the October 7 attack on Israeli territory. This is the reason for this round of war.
In addition to the attacks in the south, Israel also launched air strikes in the central Gaza Strip. As a result, more than 60 people were injured and killed.
Residents in Gaza City, the main northern city, said Israeli tanks had entered their neighborhoods before opening fire on buildings, sending many civilians fleeing their homes. Such a move came after the Israeli military ordered residents to evacuate areas east and west of Gaza City.
