After just 7 minutes of play, the Dutch side took a quick lead. After a mistake by Declan Rice, Safi Simons snatched the ball from his feet and pulled it back to shoot directly from just outside the penalty area and into the net beautifully. The Orange Knights were sent 1-0 up.

But in the 18th minute, the referee checked the VAR technology. Denzel Dumfries made the tackle and struck his right foot. Harry Kane, whose volley flew over the bar before England were awarded a penalty, was the man who took the kill without missing a goal. This left the score level at 1-1. The first half ended with this result.

In the second half, both teams played cohesively. It was pretended that extra time was needed. But at the end of the game, in the 90th minute, it was England's goal that put them ahead. The moment passed when Cole Palmer passed the ball into the penalty area for Ollie Watkins to pick it up on the right and fire a powerful shot against the post. It helped the Lions go past a 2-1 lead.

By the end of the match, England won 2-1, qualifying for the finals for the second time in a row. Going to meet Spain, the match will be held on the evening of Sunday, July 14, at 2:00 am (until the early hours of Monday morning, Thailand time) at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
