Samsung held its Galaxy Unpacked event to launch a number of new products, from foldable smartphones to wearables. But strangely, there were no new tablets. Which the company confirmed will definitely be coming.
A Samsung representative in South Africa confirmed to Android Authority that “we will definitely have the Galaxy Tab S10 series,” however, the representative did not specify exactly when the company will launch the flagship tablet. But it has been confirmed that it will definitely be coming before the end of this year, so fans certainly won’t have to wait until next year.
According to previous information, the Galaxy Tab S10 will have an OLED display, support the S Pen and will use the latest Snapdragon chip or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, there is news that Samsung may also use the Dimensity 9300 chip in the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
As for the processor, there is still a lot of clarity. But several sources say that given the relatively low production yield of Exynos chips and Samsung’s desire to reduce its dependence on Snapdragon chips, the company is considering MediaTek as an alternative. So, there will likely be some models with Snapdragon chips and some with MediaTek chips.
The Galaxy S24 also uses a hybrid chipset strategy, with the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ using an Exynos chip, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra using a Snapdragon chip.
