Good news! Data in LINE Keep can still be downloaded and stored after the service is closed. In a private way

LINE has long announced that it will end the “LINE Keep” service on August 28, 2024, and that all data must be downloaded and kept before the service ends. To prevent data loss, but there are many people who cannot download it in time. Or have difficulties downloading until it cannot be completely downloaded Now there is good news! Anyone who doesn't have time to download it, LINE is still kind enough to let you download it. Plus, it's easier than ever. But you can't do it through the app.

How to request to download all data in LINE Keep with just a few clicks

1. Go to https://contact-cc.line.me/th/15592 (You must log in with the LINE account that you want to retrieve information from LINE Keep)
2. Fill in the information as it is still empty.
3. Answer “Yes” or “Yes” to both questions and then “I Accept.”

Then fill out the CAPTCHA as shown and press “Submit”.

Then a screen will appear as shown.

Wait for the download link to be received from the email you entered. In some cases, it may go to “spam” or “junk”. Don't forget to check it thoroughly. Once you submit the data download request form, it takes about two weeks to receive the download link. It can be downloaded from smartphones, tablets and computers.

Once the form is filled and submitted. There will be a notification on our line as well.

Things to know and limitations of using this method

1. Downloadable data includes text, links, images, videos, audio files, and other file types.
2. Files 50MB or larger cannot be downloaded. (Not included in this section of the download)
3. It is only uploaded in the “LINE Keep” section and does not include information in “Keep Memo” only.
4. Data backup request service using this method is open from August 28, 2024, 12.00pm – May 28, 2024, 9.59pm Thailand time only.
5. Required files can only be downloaded until 9:59 PM Thailand time on December 28, 2024.

After closing LINE Keep, all that's left is “Keep Memo”, which is your chat room. The message received here is still there. (But if you move the device, you should back it up with the chat history via Google Drive and iCloud.) As for the various files, photos and videos stored in Keep Memo, the recording period ends, as well as their sending. In the chat room normally.
