30, 10 people were seriously injured by the tornado
The storm-hit city of Paterbourne was hit by a violent hurricane on Friday.
More than thirty people, including “ten”, were injured in the incident. A police spokesman told the AFP on Friday that the city in West Germany had been hit by a “hurricane”.
The hurricane caused significant property damage in this medium-sized town in northern Rhine-Westphalia, which was severely affected by the storm that is currently crossing Germany and began after unusually high temperatures during the season.
A spokesman for the fire department said the city of Lipstot, about 30 kilometers away, may also have been hit by the hurricane.
The roofs were torn
Extreme levels of flood danger were announced in western Germany today, with numerous roofs uprooted and trees uprooted, law enforcement said. Photos posted on social media also showed the cars overturning.
As a result, train traffic was severely affected and police have called for the public to stay at home. German weather services issued a hurricane warning on Friday, with winds of up to 130km / h in some places.
Bad weather first affected the western part of the country and is expected to spread to the east in the evening.
