The 40 days of shows across North America will begin in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 and end on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, via a New Year’s Eve party in their hometown, Boston. However no UK/European tour dates have yet been announced.

‘about time’

“I think it’s about time,” guitarist Joe Perry, 72, told The Associated Press.

“It’s kind of an opportunity to celebrate 50 years of being here. You never know how healthy everyone will be doing that.”

He added, “It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did it in Vegas, and it was amazing.”

“It was fun, but (we’re) kind of anxious to get back on the road.”

Last year, the band canceled part of their Las Vegas residency after their frontman Steven Tyler checked himself into rehab.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Tyler, 75, said of the upcoming Farewell Tour: “We are opening the Pandora’s Box one last time to bring the Peace Out Tour to our fans.

“Be there or watch out because we’re getting all the toys out of the attic. Get ready.”
