Teacher Jessada explains to us the tragedy of filling gas and the wrong quantity, insisting on the fuel dispenser. Errors of plus or minus 1% are allowed and are not considered outside the standard, not just push to talk.
Dr. Jesada Dinduangpurivan A lecturer at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University posted a message on Facebook about discussing the drama of refueling in PTT and getting incorrect amounts by specifying the content as follows:
Fuel Dispenser Errors of plus or minus 1% are allowed for all brands (not just PTT).
Because it is just a “tolerance” in fuel delivery to the dispenser and this is not completely accurate, but can be inaccurate, both positive and negative (i.e. under and over) within ±1% as required by law, per pump, per brand.
In the latest dramatic clip the clerk at the gas station has already explained that if you add 5 liters of fuel, the dispenser may not dispense more than ±50 milliliters according to the standards set by the Office of Weights and Measures.
For example, if you try to add 5 liters of gas as shown in the clip, today you may miss 30 milliliters of gas, but tomorrow or at another pump, you may overpay by 30 milliliters.
From the previous inspection of gas stations of different brands throughout the country there were cases where there was a shortage or surplus, but if it was only a little, no more than 1%, it was considered that it did not constitute a violation. Standards.
