Alan Wake Voice Actor: Alan Wake 2 ‘supposed to come out in October’

Alan Wake’s voice actor Matthew Puretta appeared on Monsters, Madness, and Magic and said Alan Wake 2 is “supposed to come out in October.”

While we know Alan Wake 2 has a 2023 release window, Porretta may have narrowed that window around the 16:37-minute mark of the latest episode of Monsters, madness and magic.

“I’ve been working on it,” Puretta said of Alan Wake 2. Where does the company come from… The cure, they’re amazing people.”

It is important to remember that this is not an official announcement and may not be exactly in line with the release date planned by Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy Entertainment. Nor does it take into account any last-minute delays that Porretta may not be aware of.

This story is very similar to one from March 2023 where Spider-Man 2 voice actor Tony Todd, who voices Venom in the upcoming sequel, has left the long-awaited game due out in September.

Alan Wake 2 was officially announced at the 2021 Game Awards and described as Remedy’s “first survival horror game”. If the 2023 release window holds, Alan Wake’s 2010 sequel will arrive 13 years after the original release.
