Blinken saidIsaac HerzogThe President of Israel said in Tel Aviv:
“Even in very difficult times. We are committed to the ceasefire. To bring the hostages home and I want (the agreement) to be reached now… The only reason (the agreement) is not reached is because of Hamas.”

Hours before Blinken arrived in Tel Aviv. The far-right prime minister sympathized and warned Blinken that Israel would send an army to Rafah. This comes despite the United States' concern about the safety of 1.5 million people who have taken refuge in southern Gaza cities.
According to information from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu addressed family members of the hostages who are still being held in Gaza.
“We will attack Rafa. We will eliminate the Hamas army. Whether there is a (ceasefire) agreement or not.”
The statements of the Israeli Prime Minister come at a time when Hamas is studying its latest proposals for a ceasefire. From negotiations in Cairo with mediators from the United States, Egypt and Qatar.
Hamas said it was studying plans for a 40-day ceasefire and a hostage exchange with a large number of Palestinian prisoners. A Hamas source said that it will discuss ideas and proposals and will respond as soon as possible.
In a previous visit to Jordan, Blinken said: A ceasefire in Gaza and it is possible that doubling the provision of aid will go hand in hand.
