World No. 14 badminton player Busanan Ongboomrungphan has expressed his gratitude after winning the 2024 Japan Open title.
After “Karim” Busanan Ongbamrungphan, the world's 14th ranked badminton player won the 2024 Japan Open title, after losing to world's 5th ranked Akane Yamaguchi of Japan, in two consecutive matches with a score of 11-21 and 10-21, on Sunday, August 25.
Recently, the 28-year-old shuttler posted a message on Instagram. The message read: “Runner-up at the Japan Open. This week is a competition that challenges the cream and gives you the biggest experience of your life.”
“It started with flying solo to compete for the first time in my life, although P'Dome and his team couldn't get together this time. But we plan to train to be confident. And prepare before competing together every day.”
“Acharn Aem is indispensable for helping to take care of the thoughts and confidence that are very important for an athlete like Karim. Every day there are exciting things, there are things that need to be asked for help from brothers and sisters. Thai athletes who come to compete together every day, including P'Bright, SCG team members, Ban Thong Yot team, Union team, T Thailand team. He then posted another message saying: “Thank you for all the encouragement you have sent to Karim. And thank you to the sponsors. It is a very good mental strength for Karim Al-Nuj. Develop yourself to be better.”
For the next tournament for the Thai badminton team, there will be a competition schedule at the “Korea Open 2024”, a World Tour Super 500 tournament in Seoul, South Korea. Between August 27 – September 1, 2024
