Cardi B pairs a swimsuit with a colorful hairstyle — Palette

Cardi B Welcome summer in the first swimwear of the season.

The “I Like It” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday (June 8) to show off a chic white one-piece swimsuit with slits on the sides. She paired the look with pink strappy heels and long blonde locks stamped with colorful crosses. “LET ME POP IT OFF,” she captioned the post, before tagging her hairstylist Tokyo Styles and makeup artist Erika La Perle.

Cardi is clearly gearing up for a hot summer, as she’s recently been teasing some exciting stuff on the way. She said, “You can expect a lot from me this summer.” Rolling Stone‘, who added that Cardi was referring specifically to music and other projects. She added, “I promise.”

The Grammy-winning rapper’s new music will be her first proper release since July 2022, when she dropped “Hot S” with Kanye West and Lil Durk. Last year, she also hosted Songs by Rosalía, Gloria, and Summer Walker. However, it’s been five years since Cardi unveiled a full-length LP, her first Privacy violation which was released in 2018.

Since then, she has topped the Billboard Hot 100 with two songs: 2020’s WAP Song of the Year with Megan Thee Stallion and Up.
