China reveals an increase in smartphone shipments during the first quarter to 69.3 million units

BEIJING, May 6, 2019 (Xinhua) IDC, a global market research company, reported that China's smartphone shipments for the first three months (January-March) of this year reached 69.3 million units, an increase of 6.5 percent year on year.

The report said that although this growth figure was supported by the low comparison base last year, this is considered quarterly growth for two consecutive quarters. This reflects the trend of market recovery
