Devil's Footprints Devil's Footprints A mysterious horseshoe-shaped footprint from a hundred years ago, and suddenly it's in the same place again.
Footprints a hundred miles away
We go back to 1855 in the county of Devon in southern England. As we enter the winter season of the year, heavy snow falls at night and stops at dawn. The villagers began to earn a living again. Although it may not seem strange because when people in the village found the footprints of an animal that might have been a horse or a donkey. It is a shortcut that passes through this village.
But it has become strange that these hoof-like marks appear on the walls of the houses, windows, and even on the roofs of these villagers. And when you made good notes it was a straight footprint like a human foot. Which uses two feet to walk unlike other ungulates known to have tracks on all four sides, is 6 inches in diameter and has a very equal stride length. Then the villagers started tracking him to find answers.
So follow the footsteps
It was another two miles from the frozen river, and it is said that villagers from a village 100 miles (about 160 kilometers) away also discovered these strange footprints at the same time.
This made the villagers think it might be a legend of Satan and they gave it a name. They are called “devil's footprints” because they are almost impossible to be the footprints of animals such as horses or donkeys. Although it seems the closest. But it is absolutely impossible for an animal to be able to cover 160 kilometers in the snow in one night. There is probably a trace of a demon or a mysterious creature that no one knows about.
Some theorists believe it was a kangaroo footprint. Or some animals only during the cold season and some believe this is a normal phenomenon. But the footprints were not proven until 2009 when the same footprints reappeared in Devon. Just like it happened over a hundred years ago again! But no one knows what the scratches are…..

Devil's Footprints is the name given to a strange phenomenon that, to this day, has no explanation for how it occurs.

It happened
On February 8-9, 1855 in Devon, near the River Exe. In southern England there was heavy snow. Morning came and the townspeople found strange marks on the snow and ice that resembled the footprints of a hoofed animal such as a donkey or a horse. The marks were four inches long and two inches wide, and these marks spread throughout the city. It was as if the owner of this foot had walked all over the city last night. Either the grass or the fields, but the strange thing is that this sign appears to be walking on its hind feet only. They appear everywhere, even in unexpected places, such as a wall,
Window sill or roof of the house and even in drainpipes with a diameter of only 6 inches, the distance between the notches is constant. In some places, the places where the marks occurred are completely different. So the owner of the mark has to jump a long distance. The total distance of this trail was 100 miles, and no animal would be able to do this in one night.
This trail ends at Limestone. In the nearby cities, it was as if it had just disappeared, and no one knew if it was caused by the actions of any kind of animal or person. That's why it's called “the devil's footprints.”
Many people have theorized about these demon footprints, both believing they are caused by the actions of kangaroos or a natural phenomenon where warm water flowing into the water affects the temperature of the float to the bottom. When water vapor hits the snow-covered area, it may cause the water to swell and cause such marks. But this can only be an assumption of a mystery that has existed for more than 150 years.
On March 13, 2009, the Devil's Footprints phenomenon occurred again in Devon County, as usual in the past.
