Diablo IV is a game about keeping evil locked behind the gates of hell and raising the numbers. Kill enemies, gain power, kill more enemies, gain power. This is the endless cycle in the center Hit action RPG Blizzardbut lately players have been able to take that logic to its ridiculous conclusion, discovering a dominant Druid build that can deal over a billion damage.
“Biggest damage ever in Diablo 4!!!!” chirp Twitch streamer Moxsy July 7th. It was accompanied by a screenshot showing nine-digit numbers on the screen, and YouTube Connect screenshots Moxsy’s Druid appears to take over a billion damage. While it’s impossible to say for sure if this was the biggest damage ever, barring glitches, it didn’t take long before it got over it.
A day later, Moxsy came back and hit over 1.8 billion. “Holy shit!” he chirpmore clearly in the region than ever before. a little later, Max Roll Team Member Water heater Breaking the damage barrier of 2 billion. Another player, SquishyWarrior943, appears to have more than doubled that, to nearly 5 billion. like Forbes Author Paul Tassi pointing toBuild Druid is described as the fastest enemy clear in the game Diablo IV at the moment. So what does it consist of?
Moxsy has a file YouTube video Divide it in detail. It’s about a “double regression reaction” that allows for “crazy increasing damage”. The key is an aspect called Stormclaw that makes critical hits with Shred deal 20 to 45 percent damage from lightning damage. Pair that with Waxing Gibbous so that 100 percent of your hits are critical hits. Since Shred allows the Druid to deal 100 percent weak damage, which means it will deal double damage to enemies that are in danger.
The unique thing about this pairing is that double damage against weak enemies is effectively counted twice – the first time and the second time when each of the other effects are applied, such as Stormclaw’s lightning damage. The result is almost a quadrupling on top of everything else, which is what Moxsy means when he says it’s “double-dipping.” The higher the global damage rates on his druid, the more times he can benefit from this double drop.
An update to this version is called “Lightning Shred Priest 2.0He takes things even further by using the Grizzly Rage Aspect to transform into an extreme werewolf. This makes it possible to shred spam more times thanks to the lowered soul cost. Another aspect called Rampaging Werebeast stacks 10 percent more critical damage per hit. From there , the math starts out fuzzy, but with those pieces in place, spawning enemies in quick succession eventually allowed players to hit billions in damage per hit.
And he asked during a recent video clip: “What caused the level of damage to be so high?” “Honestly, I wish I could explain it. It seems very random, and it seems full of bugs. The number one thing to make it more consistent that I’ve found is that you need to kill a lot of things in Grizzly Rage and you have to multiply.”
Whether that was intended by Blizzard, which seems highly unlikely, is a different question entirely. The math is so broken that it seems inevitable that the developers will step in with a patch to tweak it in some way. In the meantime , Druids continue to dominate Diablo IV As undefeated killers in the late game. At least for a while. We’ll see how things shake out when the season of insidious falls Starting July 20th.
