The Royal Gazette published a Royal Decree changing the basic annuity and pension to 11,000 baht from 1 May 2024.
ROYAL GAZETTE ROYAL ORDER PUBLICATION GRANT FOR LIVING EXPENSES TO PENSIONERS (No. 17) Royal Order hereby declares that His Majesty the King Vajiralongkorn P.E.
Whereas it is appropriate to amend the Royal Ordinance on Living Expenses Allowance for pensioners and annuitants. Pursuant to Article 175 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand and Section 3 of the Act to establish criteria for the payment of certain types of allowances pursuant to the 1975 Budget.
WHEREFORE, HIS MAJESTY'S GRACE BECAUSE OF AN ORDINANCE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 This Royal Decree shall be known as the “Annual and Pensioners' Living Expenses Assistance Royal Decree (No. 17) B.E. 2024”
Section 2 This Royal Decree shall come into force from 1 May 2024.
First
Section 3. The provisions of Section 4 of the Royal Decree on Living Expenses Assistance shall be repealed.
Recipients of retirement annuities, P.E.
“Section 4 Nov. Persons receiving or entitled to receive an annuity as per the regulations of the Ministry of Defense shall receive or entitled to receive a regular pension on account of disability, special pension or pension received as an heir or beneficiary or dependent. All types of annuities with CK as per Government Pension Act or If the pensions are less than 11,000 baht per month, get additional CCB at a monthly rate equal to the difference in the amount of 11,000 baht.
