In the 37th minute, Casemiro scored a header at the far post. The ball bounced off the ground and went out slightly behind.

Back in the second half, Manchester United were better but couldn't take the lead in the 60th minute, as Joshua Chersey and Alejandro Carnacho were sent into the attacking game to replace Amadou Diallo with Mason Mount.

In the 87th minute, Manchester United went 1-0 up after Joshua Chersey brought down Alejandro Carnacho's shot and put it into the hands of Bernd Leno.

In the 90+4 minute of stoppage time, Manchester United should have scored more goals. From a mistake by Calvin Bassey who shot a narrow ball into the goal, Marcus Rashford slipped it to Carnacho, but the Argentine player shot an incredible shot wide of the goal and at the end of the match, Manchester United won 1-0, collecting the first 3 points.
