Joker: Folie à Deuxthe joker A sequel is currently being filmed. That means photos from the collection are starting to pop up online, giving up a small taste of what we might expect in the final product.
In these latest photos, we see Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck/Joker looking a bit like a clown, with some subdued, smeared makeup but lacking the diamonds around his eyes and green colored hair.
He’s also completely dressed in a drab suit instead of the colorful one from the first movie.

Overall, he appears to be somewhere in between two characters, which makes the fact that there’s another actor, a bit taller, dressed exactly how the Joker was in the first movie that much more interesting.
This doesn’t sound like a stunt double to us, where you’d think they’d wear the same outfit if that was the case.

It could be an audience member dressed as the Joker, but the costume is unlikely to be on point.
Could this extra Joker actually be a figment of Arthur’s imagination, a product of his broken psyche? All we can do at the moment is guess, but that’s what we’re putting our money into.

What we do know about the sequel is that Lady Gaga will appear in it, apparently playing the Harley Quinn version of this movie.
Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Loveland, and Catherine Keener will also join the cast, while Zazie Beetz will return.
