Fighting game fans have been clamoring for this for years, and the day has finally come.
In place of the new Guilty Gear Strive character, Arc System Works has announced that the network token for Undo will be coming to Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator in CEO Taco 2022.
No, you are not dreaming. The delay-based Netplay of nearly a decade will soon be superseded by it, so hopefully, you won’t have to worry about delays anymore – and dropping groups because of it.
There is currently no firm release date for Xrd to receive the full return update, but players will have to test it out very soon.
The developers will release a public drop test sometime in late October for PC similar to how they beta test previous games, but it hasn’t been confirmed whether the big patch will make its way to the PlayStation 4 version of REV2 and Revelator as well. .
ArcSys certainly lives up to its goal of modernizing older fighting games with better online play with Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Dragon Ball FighterZ all receiving their upgrades. or is currently in the process of doing so.
This basically leaves Granblue Fantasy: Versus as the only guy to come out unfortunately, but hopefully this now indicates that the company’s tech wizards will complete their entire backtracking roster in time and cement themselves as fighting game legends.
