Hamas released six more hostages on Thursday. Meanwhile, Israel is preparing to release 30 Palestinian prisoners under the deal.
Foreign news agencies reported that on Thursday, November 30, 2023, Hamas released six more hostages, all from the Gaza Strip. They are controlled by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), while Israel plans to release 30 Palestinian prisoners as promised.
Earlier on the same day, Hamas had previously released two hostages, bringing their total release to date.
However, the Qatari Foreign Ministry, a mediator between Israel and Hamas, confirmed via X that Hamas had released 10 hostages today, including a Russian-Israeli female hostage. He got freedom last Wednesday as well
Among the latest hostages released by Hamas were Ms Shani Koran, 29, an academic from Kibbutz Nir Oz, and Ms Sabir Cohen, a software engineer. Alexander Trubanov, who was kidnapped along with his lover, is still in captivity. But his mother and grandmother were released today.
Also included are brothers Bilal and Aisha Ziadna, aged 18 and 16 respectively. Their older brother Hamza and father Yusuf are still in the hands of Hamas.
The other two freed hostages were Neli Margalit, a 41-year-old nurse kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz, and Ms. Ileana Kritchevski. A 30-year-old Mexican citizen immigrated to Israel at the age of 16. to visit her motherland. And Hamas returned to Israel two weeks before launching its offensive on October 7.
