On 25 September 2023, the 19th Asian Men’s Football Games 2022 concluded with the final match of the group stage, with all 6 groups completed. The results of the Group 3 and Group 4 competitions held on the field today were as follows:
Group C – Uzbekistan beat Hong Kong 2-1.
Group Four – Japan beat Palestine 1-0.
Considering the third group, which only has two teams left after the withdrawal of Syria and Afghanistan, it appears that Uzbekistan has 6 points, entering the round in first place, and Hong Kong does not have any points, entering the round in second place.
While in the fourth group, Japan has 6 points and is number 1, Palestine has one point (goals won – loss -1) and ranks second, and Qatar has one point (goals win – loss -2) and ranks third. The teams entered the round of 16
*Note – Vietnam, third in Group B, is not among the top 4 third-placed teams out of the 5 groups for which points were calculated. After eliminating the results of the competition against the last-placed team in the group, 0 points remain, while the other 4 teams have points.
