Honor is another new mid-range smartphone Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in China, which is another interesting model. Although it is not a flagship model, it comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and other flagship-level specifications.
The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro have the same 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model has curved screen edges and uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, while the Honor 200 has a completely flat display that uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. Both have a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging as well, but the Pro model will support charging 66 watt wireless. There is an Honor 1+ chip for power management during wireless charging. The regular model does not support wireless charging.
The rear camera represents another difference between the two models, as the Honor 200 Pro has a 50-megapixel main camera that uses a specially developed 1/1.3-inch H9000 sensor, which is the same sensor used in the Honor Magic6. The Honor 200 uses a 1/1.3-inch Sony IMX906 sensor. 1.56 inches.
Besides the main camera, it is itself a 50MP Telephoto camera that uses a Sony IMX856 sensor that supports 2.5x optical zoom. Honor has teamed up with a French studio called Harcourt to develop the Harcourt Portrait mode that also uses AI for processing. The next camera is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera that supports built-in macro photography at a distance of 2.5 cm, while the front camera is 50 megapixels.
Both come out of the box with MagicOS 8.0 running on Android 14. The Honor 200 starts at 2,699 yuan for the 12/256GB model, or about 13,650 baht, while the Honor 200 Pro starts at 3,499 yuan for the 12/256GB model. The 12/256GB model, or about 17,690 baht, will go on sale in China on May 31.
