Hurricane Beryl was packing winds of 140 mph as it headed toward the coast of Jamaica.
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said at approximately 5:00 p.m. local time. The eye wall of Hurricane Beryl covered the southern coast of Jamaica. It was moving with winds of 140 mph along its forecast path.
