The Iranian Revolutionary Guard fires missiles at the Israeli Mossad headquarters in Iraq and attacks Iranian opposition groups in Syria.
Iranian state media reported on the evening of January 15 local time that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard attacked the headquarters of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad in the Iraqi Kurdistan region. And attacking anti-Iranian groups in Syria as well
Iranian forces said a missile strike destroyed one of the main Israeli spy headquarters in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region. This came in response to a previous Israeli attack that led to the killing of a commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement: “In response to the recent atrocities committed by the Zionist regime, which killed the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the opposition forces… the headquarters of one of the main intelligence services of the Mossad in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. “It was destroyed by a missile.”
They added that, “This command center is the center for espionage operations and planning terrorist operations against the region and Iran.”
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard also attacked several other places in Erbil, he said. Claiming that all targets are “the location of the Iranian Resistance Group.”
Israel has not yet confirmed this. Is the site that was attacked really the headquarters of the intelligence services?
This was reported by the Kurdistan Regional Security Council. At least four civilians were killed and six others were injured in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard attack.
The Council said, “This blatant violation undermines the sovereignty of the Kurdistan region and Iraq,” and accused Iran of using baseless pretexts to attack Erbil. This is an area that the Council says has never posed a threat to any party.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard also said it fired missiles at its base. “Anti-Iranian terrorist groups in occupied Syria” claim that these targets are related to the two explosions that occurred in Kerman. During a ceremony commemorating the killing of former Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani. Which was held in Kerman. Which caused many deaths and injuries.
The Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the explosion. This made Iran very angry.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said: “We have eliminated a number of key terrorist leaders and elements. In particular, ISIS in the occupied Syrian territories launched a number of missiles.
The United States condemned the attacks in both Iraq and Syria, saying that the Iranian missile attacks were “negligent and inaccurate.”
By Adrian Watson, White House National Security Council spokesman She said in a statement: “We are tracking the missile. This had an impact on northern Iraq and northern Syria. Without targeting American personnel or infrastructure.”
She added: “We will continue to evaluate the situation.” But the initial indications are that this was a reckless and inaccurate attack,” he said, adding that “the United States supports Iraq’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.”
