Foreign news agencies reported this, and Qatar revealed, on Monday, November 27, 2023, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ X account, that Israel and Hamas had reached an agreement to extend the ceasefire for another two days, after a four-day truce that was scheduled to end on Monday.
The announcement of Qatar, which is one of the mediators between Israel and Hamas, occurred shortly after US President Joe Biden’s phone call with the Qatari Prime Minister on the same day. It confirms previous Egyptian statements stating that, and efforts are underway to extend the ceasefire for another two days.
This is what Hamas announced and they agreed with Qatar and Egypt to extend the ceasefire for an additional two days, under the same agreement that was reached earlier.
