Such actions on the part of Israel are considered unacceptable. It is a show of intent to prevent aid from being delivered to people facing man-made famine.
Lazzarini also called on Israel to lift the embargo, stressing that preventing UNRWA from its operations would only put the Gaza Strip on the brink of famine. Many people will die from hunger, dehydration and lack of shelter.
