Joker: Folie à Deux has officially wrapped filming, and to celebrate the moment director Todd Phillips shared two new images of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn.
Phillips took to Instagram to share the news, saying he’s very proud of the cast and that now is the time to lock himself away to finish the movie with the team.
“Here’s a dossier. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the best cast the film industry has to offer. Top to bottom. I’m going to cave right now (the editing room) and put it together.”
Joker: Folie à Deux will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024. We still don’t know much about the 2019 Joker sequel, but it has been reported that it will be a musical. However, it has been confirmed that it will exist outside of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU, and will live in DC’s Elseworlds.
Lady Gaga’s first look at Harley Quinn came in February, and it came after she shared the news that she’d joined the cast with a video of her dancing the Joker to vintage music.
