Knorr-Bremser Global Care Asia Pacific Region Offers 1,000,000 Scholarships

The Knorr-Bremser Global Care Asia-Pacific Region, under project implementation and coordination by EDF (Education Development Fund Foundation), is offering a scholarship worth 1,000,000 baht (one million baht) to students in middle schools. And 160 poor vocational students in Chachoengsao Province for the third year in a row.

Mr. Martin Perkins, CEO of Knorr-Bremzer Global Care, Asia Pacific Limited, revealed, “Knorr-Bremzer Global Care, Asia Pacific is very happy to support the education of 80 middle school students from 9 schools and 80 vocational students from 7 colleges for the third year in a row on behalf of the management team. I would like to thank EDF (Education Development Fund Foundation), our partner in coordinating and implementing the scholarship program for these poor Thai youth. We sincerely hope that the scholarships received by everyone for the third year in a row will help promote “Opportunities for children to fulfill their dreams in order to have a good future for themselves. I encourage children to take time to practice and develop their communication skills in English, which will help them broaden their horizons and expand the opportunities available to them.”

Mr. Sanphet Nelrat, Managing Director of EDF (Education for Development Fund Foundation) revealed, “EDF is a non-profit organization committed to providing educational opportunities to poor Thai youth. Mr. Suthipat Lakhasorn, Vocational Certificate Level 3 student, Chachoengsao Technical College. From the Office of the Vocational Education Committee, he said: “I would like to thank Knorr-Bremser Global Care, Asia Pacific Region, for supporting us with the scholarships. The scholarships we have been awarded have been very beneficial for me, including me, as I have been awarded the scholarship for the third year respectively, in addition to studying in college which is my first priority. During my free time, I worked as a singer to ease the burden on my parents. And save some of their income for their education as well. As a result of last first semester, I got a GPA of 3.76 and next year I intend to continue studying at degree level Higher professional (professional certificate) in the field of electric vehicles.”

Miss Atitia Thongpan, Mathayom 3 student, Wat Ao Chang Lai School.
