Bradenton, Fla. (AP) — Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger and girlfriend, dancer Melanie Hamrick, have put their Florida home up for sale.
Listed on Realtor.com He says the four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom lakefront home is listed at $3.499 million — and Jagger’s connection appears to be a major selling point.
“You can’t always have what you want but this home is definitely what you need!” “This gorgeous, custom-designed Rutenberg home in the prime community of The Lake Club was designed with privacy in mind,” says an overview of the listing, quoting a portion of a famous Stones song written by Jagger and Keith Richards in 1969.
Jagger and Hamrick purchased the home in the Lakewood Ranch area east of Bradenton along the Gulf Coast for just over $1.9 million in October 2020. The property was registered to Hamrick and was chosen primarily because her family lived in the area. The original purchase price was $1.2 million in 2010.
An overview indicates that the home covers over 5,700 square feet (529 square meters) in living space and includes features such as a heated saltwater pool, three porches, bell tower, quality kitchen appliances, remote controlled window treatments, and large media room with wet bar.
“The possibilities of this room are endless,” the listing reads.
Jagger, 79, is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Hamrick, 36, has a 6-year-old son, Deveraux. They also reside in New York City among other places around the world. Jagger and Hamrick, a former ballerina and choreographer for the American Ballet Theatre, have been together since 2014.
