China Television (CCTV) announces the death of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. The death statement was revealed in news reports a few days ago during a break in Shanghai. Li Keqiang’s heart disease suddenly recurred on October 26. The doctors treated him the best they could, but they failed. Former Prime Minister Li, 68, died at 12:10 a.m. in Shanghai.
Li Keqiang was a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo for five years, the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth (2007-2022), and served as Vice Premier of the State Council from 2008 to 2013. He served as Premier for two terms, from 2013 to 2013. 2023.
Mr. Li Keqiang was born in 1955 in Anhui Province.
