NASA is releasing a free-to-play TRPG called The Lost Universe

A tabletop role-playing game, or TRPG, is a tabletop role-playing game that requires only a pencil and paper to play. Take on the role of the character you want to be. Go to the story created by the Game Master. TRPG has a long history. Popular games include Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire: The Masquerade, etc. Nowadays, there are still a lot of new games coming to play.

NASA National Aeronautics and Space Administration let me step in and launch my own TRPG called “The Lost Universe,” which is a mix of science fiction and fantasy. What would happen if the Hubble Space Telescope, the telescope orbiting Earth by the Space Shuttle Discovery, disappeared in April 1990?

The game takes place on the planet Exlaris when scientist Arik Hazn casts a spell that connects the world to his planet. He studied the Hubble Space Telescope, which is used to observe black holes. Because in the past, the Xlaris star was almost absorbed by a black hole, but then the Hubble Space Telescope disappeared, prompting players to travel to the Xlaris star to find out where the Hubble Space Telescope disappeared.

NASA is offering The Lost Universe for free so everyone can download and play it. The game supports 4-7 players, and the adventure takes approximately 3-4 hours to play.
