OPPO launched the OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro in China last month. Today, the company officially launched the model that will be sold worldwide or globally. Some specifications have been modified to be different from the model that will be sold in China.
The first is the change to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chip, which was developed in collaboration between MediaTek and OPPO. Both models have a 6.7-inch OLED display, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10/HDR10+ support, and a maximum screen brightness of 1,200 nits. The Pro model uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the regular model uses Gorilla Glass 7i.
The OPPO Reno12 Pro is still superior in terms of cameras. It received the title of Portrait Expert with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT600 sensor, 26 mm f/1.8, with OIS image stabilization, followed by an 8-megapixel Ultrawide camera and a 2x zoom camera with a resolution of 50 million pixels. As for the camera The front has a resolution of 50 megapixels and supports auto focus. Both the front and rear cameras support soft bokeh effect and AI portrait retouching, in addition to supporting 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.
As for the regular OPPO Reno12 model, it has the same main camera and ultra-wide camera, and is only missing a telephoto camera, replaced with a 2MP macro camera instead. The front camera has reduced its resolution to 32 megapixels and supports auto focus.
OPPO has added several AI processing capabilities to the OPPO Reno12 series. As for the photo, there is AI Clear Face, or using artificial intelligence to help improve the structure of the face, hair, and eyebrows. AI Best Face makes everyone in the photo open their eyes. (If you close your eyes while taking the photo) Including an upgraded AI Eraser feature and also getting AI Write, AI Speak and AI Summary, which uses Google's Gemini to help process the recording. The recording app contains artificial intelligence that can help summarize text.
Both models contain a large 5000 mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC 80W fast charging, which can charge the battery from 1% to 49% within 18 minutes and to 100% within 46 minutes. It also supports USB-PD as well, but it will get a maximum of 55 watts.
OPPO Reno12 has two colors to choose from: Nebula Black/Nebula Silver, 12/512GB, price 600 euros or about 23,600 baht. The regular model has two colors to choose from: Astro White/Astro Black, 12/256GB, price. 500 euros or about 19,700 baht
