“Palace of Thorns” Love, dreams, hopes covered in blood.

When inequality becomes a thorn in the side

Leading everyone to disaster and tragedy that went further

Ever since we first saw the trailer that went viral on social media, we thought, Castle of Thorns It's no less interesting because the whole plot is unique. The story theme is trendy and relevant. Including the actors who all have their own fan clubs. And I wasn't really disappointed because Castle of Thorns We were very impressed.

Castle of Thorns A suspense drama about a group of people who have had their love, dreams and hopes stolen. “Gold” (Jeff Sator) He had to lose everything, including the house and the durian orchard. “Sik” (Toy Phongsakorn Mitarikanon) My friend died in a sudden accident. The title deed to the land of the house and the durian orchard, which is the marriage certificate of the couple, is torn by law and requires that the deceased's property be his. “May Sing” (Sida Wongbuapan) Sik's real mother

Thongkham was in severe pain and almost felt angry. When Mae Sing is not like that, it is a thorn in my chest, but it is still stuck. “Mo” (I saw her) The daughter who was raised and cared for as a maid since childhood and “Jingna” (King Harriet Bowaywe) Mo's real younger brother also follows him to the house in the durian orchard. They both get along well with Mae Saeng. Because he wanted to share in the treasure that was consecrated. After toiling all his life

When the whole house and the durian orchard are comparable fort After being taken away, Gold does everything he can to reclaim his ownership from the beginning. But the road is not easy because the thorns in your side do not agree. In addition, they are willing to trample on all his dreams and hopes. Including the love we have had for the past five years, it must also collapse. When he discovers some secrets

Overall, Wiman is the culmination of all the characters' desires, whether it's the gold that was pioneered from the beginning with Sek, Mae Saeng, which Som Lon inherited from his son. I want to live a happy life. After having to endure sleeping in the dirt and eating in the sand all this time, Mo's life was tied to Mae Saeng. I hope with all my heart that I can share in the inheritance in exchange for the hardships of the past, including Jingna who wants to settle down. Spend time with your family for once in your life. After having to wander around and work for wages and not always being the main source.

The event of fighting and fighting to regain the property is the principle of an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, especially Thongkam and Mo, who were blinded by the desire to win and forgot everything. Until a tragedy happened that went beyond the limits and I could not return. The castle that was the dream home became like a castle of thorns soaked in blood. Because if you want to own, you have to sacrifice many things, including love, dreams and hopes.

Personally, I think it's probably the most unique. The character designs with clear personalities and plot points make the situations and reactions realistic and logical, especially the main characters like Thongkham (Jeff Satter) and Mo (Engfah Waraha) who both want legal status, family status and social status until they agree to do many things. In the end, it becomes a grave that he buries himself in, until it becomes impossible to find a way out.

Of course, the main couple, Thongkam and Mo, are the main boxing pair in the story. In addition to the conflict over the ownership of houses and durian orchard lands. There is also the love story and hope that is completely torn apart for both of them. Due to misunderstandings and the desire to get curtains, but what we want to add to the result is to share the narrative with another pair of characters, Mae Saeng (Sida Wongpuapan) and Jingna (Keng Harit Buayoi), because their problems make the story of the conflict between Thongkam difficult and Mo becomes more obvious and heavy.

The presence of Mae Saeng and Jingna allows us to get to know the main characters like Thongkam and Mo more, especially Mo whose ferocity we may have been annoyed by in the first half. But the second half wanted to admit that he couldn't help but sympathize with the fate she had to suffer. Both are unrequited love, family status is unacceptable, and social status she never had before.

As for Thong, his status is unstable from the beginning of the story, whether as a lover, a son-in-law, or even a landowner. We get to know him through his crazy battle for ownership. Something he was always invested in. And of course we sympathize with him and root for him from the beginning. Even if you don't agree with the way he does it. But I think what he chooses to do and respond to is appropriate for the character he designed. It makes us see the good and the evil in the same person. Which I personally think is reasonable.

Another thing I love Castle of Thorns It's an uncomplicated story. Although there are many conflicts from many couples but they are manageable. It makes the overall picture of the story uninterrupted. Plus it hides the secrets very carefully. It makes the story, especially the second half, more intense. I personally think that's where the fun lies. We can't guess right or wrong because the story has twists and turns.

Let's just say the overall picture. The movie is very good. Both because the character designs are completely realistic. The story issues reflect society and are contemporary. The actions are begging to be watched. Including the performances of the new actors, including Jeff Sator and Engvah Waraha, who play without care and are handsome and beautiful. This makes us able to say with confidence that Wiman Nam is one of the few Thai movies that we like.

All of them must give credit to the production team and the director. Leader Narobit Kono Who produces good films come and admire. I sincerely hope we see good work from him again in the future.
