@OnLeaks and Smartprix have released the first images of the Pixel Fold 2, Google's next foldable smartphone. We will see a lot of changes from the previous generation.
The first thing you notice from this display is the more rounded curves. For example, the external display has a pronounced curvature of the screen corners. The screen aspect ratio is closer to that of a regular smartphone. It is not as wide as the first version.
As for the screen from the inside, it contains curved screen corners that are not square like the previous model. In addition, the interior space has been modified to fill the entire screen. There is no thick top-bottom bezel like the previous model, instead the front camera is located on the screen. The screen size has become larger: the external screen is 6.6 inches (from the original 6.4 inches) and the internal screen is 8.1 inches (from the original 7.9 inches).
The other thing that we clearly see has changed is the camera design which will be moved to the upper left corner instead of the camera bar like the previous model. The camera is combined into 3 modules with different sensors, which makes the appearance of the camera change as well.
The body size of the Pixel Fold 2 when folded is 155.2 x 77.1 x 10.54 mm, and when unfolded it is 155.2 x 150.2 x 5.27 mm, which will be thinner compared to the previous model as well.
@OnLeaks shot it themselves like that, and I think the real thing definitely wouldn't get away with much of that. According to reports, Google is expected to launch this new version of the Pixel Fold 2 at the Google I/O 2024 event to be held on June 27. I can't wait to continue!
